Potatos from Peru? Not Idaho

Estava leendo un artico  de cominda hecho en Peru y mire esta photo y queira gomitad si mira muy feo y no bueno. Es papa cosida con cheso que pica y con lechuga y um hard boiled egg y olives. No mi gusta por que no tein carne y se mira couriso. But if one day I go to Peru I will try it. One interesting I found out on this link was that "potatoes orginated from Peru and they is an esimated over 4,000 types here". So I guess Idaho stole its potatoes from Peru?
